Songs of our Lives – featuring Vivian Buczek and Peter Asplund is returning to Prime Time Orchestra at Sandvika Theater.

Meet Sweden's most dynamic jazz artist duo: Vivian Buczek and Peter Asplund.

Following the success of the album "Live At The Palladium" and numerous other stage performances, Vivian and Peter, with the album "Songs of our Lives," delved deeper into emotions and life experiences. The repertoire includes both newly written and rare gems of standard song treasures. In other words, the album is a mix of everything from hard-swinging scat duels to contemplative ballads. It's jazz, blues, swing, joy, and tears. It's Vivian and Peter!

"With Songs of our Lives, we want to pause and reflect on life. Where we come from, where we are right now, and where we're going. We have chosen music and lyrics that symbolize experiences, events, memories, hope, joy, and sorrow. Some rarely heard nuggets, some newly written tracks, and some stories from our lives, and some old classics. Songs and melodies that mean and have meant a lot to us. We want to paint a dynamic jazz picture of life in the middle of life. These are songs about our lives, and songs from our lives," explain Peter and Vivian.

Prime Time Orchestra was one of Bærum Municipality's Cultural Beacons from 2015 to 2019.
